Phuket Botanic Garden, is made up of 30 differing zones, and has many interesting garden types including Herb, Orchid, Orchard, Water Lilly, Fern, Cactus, Palm and Japanese Gardens. The Water Lilly Garden has a large pond with carp fish that kids can feed by buying fish food. The must see Winter Garden is located in a temperature controlled, air conditioned, cool 20 degree C area. It has wonderful colourful flowers, plants, scrubs and trees, mainly from Northern Thailand. Also on site is a Thai farming display, a small butterfly garden, a souvenir shop and a cafe set by another pond that sells drinks and light snacks. Phuket Botanic Garden is well laid out and sign posted, so it is easy to walk around and enjoy. If you plan to see it all than it will take about 2 hours or more. It is in the district of Chalong, in a small, sign posted turning on the left, off Chao Fah Nok Rd (Chao Fa West Rd) just before Chalong Temple, if driving from Central Festival towards Chalong Circle. Please note it is closed on a Wednesday.

Phuket Botanic Garden, located in Muang District of Phuket, boasts various collections of tropical and exotic plants in over 30 zones. Each zone contains different species such as tropical palms, herb garden, fragrant plants, fruit orchards, orchid pavilion, etc.

Visitors will find us an excellent place to enjoy beauty of nature and to learn about the nature of plants from all over the world. Phuket Botanic Garden is open for visitors as a recreational attraction as well as a research centre for many rare plant species.
