Tham Lot Phraya Nakarat
The cave Tham Lot Phraya Nakarat begins 300 m south of Wat Phraya Nakarat cave temple. A small stream flows in and continues all the way through the cave. The cave runs in a southeasterly direction and crosses a 200 m high and 1 km wide chain of limestone rocks.
The cave is very beautiful with many stalaktites in brown, white and red hues. Also most amazing rocks can be seen washed out by heavy waters.
Walking through the cave takes about 70 minutes. The cave is mostly between 5 and 10 meters high. Walking is mostly ankle deep through the clear water, sometimes knee deep and occasionally through one foot deep mud. Only twice it is necessary to go down to your knees for a meter or so.
Near the northern end a flock of bats clings to the cave roof.
This cave was just rediscovered by T-Tour in Khao Lak. The staff expects that also families with children from 12 years up will have fun exploring the cave.
